Chan Carter

Mr. Chan Carter, 64, of Rock Hill, SC was born September 4, 1956 to the late Mr. Earlie Carter and Mrs. Queen Ester Smith Carter and departed this life on February 9, 2021 at his home.  

In addition to his parents, Mr. Carter is preceded in death by one grandson, Demario; one brother, Early Carter and one sister, Brenda Demery.

Mr. Carter leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Kathy Carter of the home; two sons, Charlie Carter and Anthony Carter; one daughter, Rose Carter; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren all of Rock Hill, SC; five sisters, Catherina (Joyce) Oxendine and Rebecca Miller, both of Pembroke, NC, Nancy Oxendine and Ester Carter, both of Rowland, NC, and Teresa Thompson of Red Springs, NC; three brothers, David Carter of Maxton, NC, Michael Carter of Rock Hill, SC and Ray Carter of Pembroke, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
