Carol Dean (Oxendine) Locklear

Mrs. Carol Dean Oxendine Locklear of Maxton, was born October 29, 1944 to the late Mr. Ben and Emma Oxendine and departed this life on November 29, 2020 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC.

In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by four brothers, Bradford Oxendine, Joe Oxendine, Billy Ray Oxendine and James Delanna Oxendine; five sisters, Catherine Locklear, Ada Jacobs, Eva Werner, Gladys Canterell and Mageline Oxendine and one grandson, Caleb Brett Cummings.

Mrs. Carol is survived by her husband of 52 years, Mr. Tracy Locklear; one daughter, Cheryl Cummings; one son, Perry Locklear (Shondale); two grandchildren, Joshua Greg Cummings and Niya Jade Locklear; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Brayboy and Mrs. Annette Dial; two brothers, Mr. Curtis Oxendine and Mr. Telford Oxendine and a host of other relatives and friends.
