Cara Hunt

Cara Celeste “CC” Hunt, 20 years old of Pembroke, NC was born a fighter on July 15,
2003 to Carey and Katara Hunt and departed this life for her Heavenly home peacefully
surrounded by her loved ones on October 18, 2023
Cara was preceded in death by her Papa Terry Harris, her Aunt Lisa Harris Tyner and
uncle Kevin Ray Hunt who were waiting for her with open arms.
Cara was the epitome of beauty and grace. She was warm and kind to everyone she
would meet. She oozed enthusiasm at every new adventure whether it be at work, Camp
Grace, or on her outings with friends. She would literally try to tell us every detail of her day.
Cara genuinely cared for others and would express her concern often about their well-being.
Cara loved her siblings Kaley, Ian, and Terryn. She did her best to show up at every sports
event or program they were involved in. Cara loved life. She loved every Sunday evening,
going to grandma Lorna’s where she laughed with aunt Britney, uncle Russell, and cousins
Elijah and Jon Colton. She loved spending time with family, her friends, at church and with
God. Cara positively impacted so many people in her 20 years that we can not imagine or
comprehend. Her fearlessness, courage, and true love leave us as something to strive towards.
We have no doubt that Cara is enjoying to the fullest, her new body with her heavenly family
and our God.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her Parents Carey and Katara Hunt, Sisters Kaley
Hunt and Terryn Kate Hunt, and brother Ian Hunt of the Home. Grandparents James A. and
Lucille Hunt & Lorna Harris. Aunt Britney and Russell Chavis, Uncle Dwayne and Lisa Hunt.
Cousins Elijah, Jon Colton, Kirsten, Devin, Aaron, and Rylan. Friends she loved dearly, Yasmine
(Rita), Cheyenne, Angel, Kaleigh, Colin, Leah and Devin and a host of family, friends, and loved
ones too numerous to name.
