Brooksie Davis Obituary

Ms. Brooksie Lynn Davis, 50 of Maxton, passed away at her house on November 20, 2024.
Brooksie was born on October 19 th 1974, in Robeson County to the late Betty Davis and Dan
Davis.
Brooksie loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Brooksie retired
from a long career as an income maintenance worker at the Department of Social Services.
Throughout her life, Brooksie was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and spent her life
outpouring love, kindness, and generosity. She left an inevitable mark on everyone’s life she
encountered. Her happiest moments were spent with her family, friends, and grandchildren.
Throughout her sickness in her last days she brought joy and love to those who had the
pleasure of seeing her.
Brooksie loved her family and grandchildren endlessly. She is survived by her loving family:
Stepmother Windy Davis; son Austin Davis; Brothers: Tyler Oxendine (Tierra), Ryan Davis
(Candice), Schayne Davis (Diane), Dan Davis Jr. (Jackie); Sisters: Grace Davis, Cheyenne Davis;
and 2 grandchildren Nylah Davis and Liam Goins. She is preceded in death by her late
grandmother and grandfather Mary Anna Davis and Leander Davis.
Brooksie will truly be missed by her family and friends and all of those who were blessed to
know and love her. Brooksie left a long legacy behind for her friends and family.
Visitation will take place at 2:00 and the funeral will take place at 3:00 at Faith Baptist Church in
Rowland, NC.
