Our beautiful, beloved Brodhi Brixton Locklear was born July 8, 2020 to Jenson Brye Ransom and Timothy Locklear. Brodhi was a childhood cancer warrior who fiercely fought Leukemia since June 2024 and on May 8, 2025, her fight ended as she left this life to be with Jesus.
Up until her diagnosis, Brodhi attended Little Angels Daycare where her classmates as well as the staff quickly became her second family. Mrs. Sandy connected with Brodhi when no one else could. She and Mrs. Denise both held a special place in Brodhi’s heart.
There are many things about Brodhi’s short life that we will remember. She gave the best cuddles, hugs and kisses. Her winks, with those beautiful brown eyes fringed with the longest black lashes, were one-of-a-kind. Her giggles were infectious. Her whistles were better than most adults. And when receiving the most difficult of procedures, she always, even through her tears, mustered up a “Thank you Doctor” to whomever was standing nearby. Brodhi was simply Brodhi. She touched the hearts of all who came to know her. She blessed and continues to bless others.
Brodhi’s life is joyfully celebrated by her parents, Jenson and Timothy, and her sister, Ryndal
Slayde. She is so very much loved by her grandmothers, Julianna Lowery and Melissa Pittman, and her great-grandparents, Silas and Sherlene Pittman, along with her extended family of uncles, aunts and cousins: Stephen and Jordan (Jhetta, Mabry, Peyton, Autumn, Ryder), Lucas (Taytum), Kennedy and Jakotae (Kourtland, Brayden, Ensleigh), Lensington (Blakeleigh) Destiny (Kaylee, Chloe, Cali, Camryn).
Brodhi’s family finds peace knowing that she is in Heaven, resting in the arms of Jesus...
