Betty (Peschel) Hunt

Mrs. Betty Hunt, 75, of Lumberton NC, ascended to glory on Thursday, December 11, 2025. She was born in Germany on December 5, 1950, to the late Mr. Josef Peschel and Mrs. Rose Peschel.  Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her generous spirit and infectious sense of humor. She enjoyed crafting, playing games, shopping, and helping others. While being a devoted military wife, working and nurturing mother, she also achieved the distinction of becoming a nationally certified nurse.

   Mrs. Hunt leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 58 years, Samuel Hunt, two sons, Mr. Samuel Hunt Jr (Bobbie-Jo) and Dicky Hunt (Melisa); two grandchildren, Tyler Hunt (Amber), Megan Hunt Bolton (Daylen) and a host of relatives and friends.
