Betty Jean (Brooks) Davis

 Ms. Betty Jean Davis age 68, of Maxton, NC passed away on Tuesday June 30, 2020 after an extended illness, in Southeastern Hospice House, receiving her eternal reward with her Lord and Savior. 

She was born on May 12, 1952 in Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Ducky Brooks and Dalcedia Locklear-Brooks, her companion Michael King, one brother William Earl Brooks, two sisters Linda S. Clayton and Helen Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son Dr. Dan Davis Jr. (Jackie Davis) of Lumberton, NC, one daughter Brooksie Davis of Maxton, NC, three grandsons Jaydan Davis, Jaryd Davis and Austin Davis. One great-granddaughter, Nylah Marie Davis. She leaves behind three sisters: Carrie Teets, Elizabeth Jones, and Judy Sanderson,  a special sister-in-law Barbara Davis, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends may view Mrs. Davis as she lies in state on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 1pm til 6pm.  Family will not be present.
