Bernice (Dial) Reimer

Ms. Bernice Dial Reimer, age 88 of Pembroke, NC was born on May 27, 1935 in Robeson County to the late Peter & Maggie Locklear Dial and she departed this life on November 12, 2023 at Harborview Nursing Home in Lumberton, NC.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Peter Dial & Maggie Locklear Dial, one sister Juanita Wells, one brother in law Billy Ray Locklear and one daughter Phyllis Dial Locklear.

Ms. Bernice was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She was a dedicated Christian and a member of Bakers Chapel Baptist Church. In 1970 her career started with Converse manufacturing plant. Working there for 28 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed working in her yards planting flowers and most of all keeping her house clean and spotless. Sewing quilts with the Prospect Ladies sewing club was something she definitely enjoyed.

Ms. Bernice Dial Reimer is survived by her two children, Debbie (Jeff) Locklear of Maxton & Edward Reimer (Sandy) of Lumberton, seven  grandchildren, Joshuan Carl Jacobs (Lexus) of Lumberton, Rebecca Hunt Locklear (Tony) of Lumberton, Erica Hunt McMillian (Ben) of Lumberton, Ariel Locklear of Pembroke, Kearston Locklear of Maxton, Chelsie Reimer (Jorge) of Lumberton, Meagan Reimer (Steven) of Lumberton; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great -great grandchildren and siblings, Lucy Locklear of Maxton, Mary Billie (George) of Havelock NC, & Pete Dial Jr (Pete Jr) of Maxton.

Thank you God for blessing our family with a wonderful mother and grandmother and she is now rejoicing in heaven.  Rest in Peace Mama!
