Mrs. Barbara Dean Locklear 74, of 3560 Missouri Rd. Maxton, was born on April 22, 1947 to the late Mr. Varser Bullard, and Mrs. Martha Lee Bullard. She departed this life on Friday 07/23/21 at home.
Barbara was a mother, wife, sister, educator and a friend to many. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. & Mrs. Varser Bullard, two daughters, Tina McMillan, and Vickie McMillan, one granddaughter Toni Leeann Revels and her brother Randall Bullard (Buck).
Mrs. Barbara Dean Locklear leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Brantley Locklear of the home, one son Roderick McMillan (Christina) two daughters Vanessa M. Revels (Tony) of Red Springs and Mary Martha Locklear of Maxton, two brothers William V. Bullard, Charles Bullard, and one sister Debbie Locklear all of Maxton. 13 grandchildren (two of whom she helped raise Ellis Ray Locklear Jr and Khalia Locklear), and 4 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friend
