Ashley Locklear

Ms. Ashley Michelle Locklear, age 28, of Red Springs, North Carolina, who departed this life on May 24, 2026. Ashley was born on October 23, 1997, and was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose bright spirit touched everyone who knew her. Ashley’s greatest joy in life was her two beautiful children, Scott Ryan Lowery and Adella Rhoswen Lowery. She embraced motherhood with a fierce, unconditional love that will continue to shine through them always. Though her time here was far too short, Ashley will be remembered for her resilience, kindness, laughter, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her presence brought comfort and joy to many, and her memory will forever be cherished. Ashley was preceded in death by her loving mother, Idella Locklear and her paternal grandparents Lacy and Beulah Locklear. Left to honor and cherish her memory are her beloved children, Scott Ryan Lowery and Adella Rhoswen Lowery; her father, David Mack Locklear; her siblings, Somer Hunt (Joshua), Jamie Locklear (April Shay), Gloria Locklear (Isaiah), David Earl Blue (Becky), Patsy Blue, Natasha Blue-Mitchell (Lester), Kennie Blue (Latonya Joy), Steven Blue (April), and Charlene Blue-Bell (Jonathan); Her maternal grandparents Anthony and Mildred Locklear, nephews of the home, David Dell Locklear and Aiden Hunt, along with many extended family members and dear friends who became family, including Ms. Rhonda Locklear, Teeya Gonderman, and Christian Hunt.
