Angielene (Angie) Oxendine

Ms. Angielene Oxendine, 65, of Maxton, NC was born October 9, 1955 to Mrs. Geraldine Oxendine and the late Mr. Willey Oxendine. She departed this life July 27, 2021 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill. At the time of her death she was a retired cafeteria worker with the PSRC at Peterson Elementary School.

Angie loved baseball. She was very active with the kind in her community during baseball season. She enjoyed cooking for her family, taking care of her loved ones and cherished all the time she spent with the loves of her life, Charles Wiley and Paizley. Heaven is sweeter with her there.

Ms. Oxendine leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Geraldine of Maxton; her son, Charles Wiley Oxendine (Brittany) of Lumberton; two brothers, Graylon Oxendine and Larry Oxendine; one honorary brother, Derrick Locklear; one sister, Audrey Harris of Maxton; two grandchildren, Paizley and Maddox; two nieces Krystal and the late Jessica; five nephews, Kemp, Chris, Lester, Alex and Eric and a host of other relatives and friends.
