Clayton Charles Poland was born on December 27, 1977 in Exeter, NH to Mr. Gary Clayton Poland of Kingston, NH and Mrs. Cindy Lou Dyer of Rowland, NC.

Clayton is survived by his grandparents Clayton and Elizabeth Poland of Waterville, ME; his stepfather, Joseph A Dyer of Rowland, NC; one sister, Lura Kapland (Andrew) of Las Vegas, NV; one step sister, Meaghan Johns of Essex, CT; two nephews, Xander and Oliver Johns both of Essex, CT and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.

Those greeting Clayton into Paradise are his grandparents Glenn and Gloria Amsden and Fred and Alice  Dyer; Uncles Russell Amsden and John Stanley; Aunt Alice (Baby) Dyer and step sister Amanda Dyer.

Clayton graduated Exeter High School in Exeter, NH. He attended Robeson Community College in Lumberton, NC, majoring in Computer Science.  Clayton only needed a few credits to receive his Associates Degree. He worked at Pizza Hut as a delivery driver and a cook and was always willing to take on extra shifts if called upon.  Clayton was a loving, devoted son. When called upon he would do anything for you. He was known for his love of reading, his faith in the church, the love of the gospel and of the Lord. He held many callings in the church with his favorite calling being the Church Librarian.  He received his Honorary Mention as CO Contributor of the book Battletech Total Warfare, which received 4.5 stars from reviews on Amazon
