On July 3, 1988 Thompson's Funeral Home opened the doors with only one thing in mind:

"We Care"

The facility was originally 4,200 square feet located on Prospect Rd. just outside the town of Pembroke, NC.

In August of 2001 renovations/additions to the existing funeral home were completed. Additions included the Chapel with a seating capacity of 225 thus allowing us to better serve our families.

Thompson’s Funeral Home is a family business owned by Mr. Gary Phillip & Mrs. Patsy Thompson. It is currently operated by their daughter, Mrs. Amiria Thompson-Prather and their granddaughter, Ms.Ashleigh Prather.
