Mr. Michael Dennis Manuel, 64, of Maxton, NC, was born August 5, 1954 to the late Mr. Gerald Eugene Manuel and Mrs. Carol Mayhood Manuel Elliot and departed this life Saturday, February 9, 2019.

Mr. Manuel is preceded in death by his step-father, Mr. Charlie Elliot.

Mr. Manuel is survived by his wife; Mrs. Jenny L. Manuel of the home; his children; Kenny Locklear, Chris Manuel, Robert Manuel, Brian Manuel, Phillip Wynne and Melissa Wynne; his sisters, Cindy Beagle of Shallotte, NC and Kristie Manuel of Laurinburg, NC; his mother in law, Ella Mae Seago of Thomasville, NC; two sister in laws, Rosie Hunt and Betty Sue of Thomasville, NC; one brother in law, Don R. Smith of Winston Salem, NC; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, host of friends and love ones

My brother didn’t “depart”, but as Jesus says “ . . . Our friend is sleeping”, and just as Jesus told Martha and Mary he will rise and death will be no more. No more dying or outcry or pain. Just as Jesus father Jehovah meant it to be before Adam and Eve rebelled. Amen come Lord Jesus!

We were saddened to hear that Mike has passed away. How sad it is to loss our dear loved ones. But all is not lost. We will be with Mike again not to die but to live forever. That will be right here on a paradise earth with no more sickness or death. Many find that hard to believe. This is what our creator promises.
