Mr. Michael Sampson, age 58, of 4427 N Chicken Rd, Pembroke went to his heavenly home on March 21, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Margolius (Gold) Sampson.
Michael leaves to cherish his memories and wonderful sense of humor, his wife of 37 years Mrs. Lavenia Sampson of the home ; two daughters Courtney Sampson Brayboy (Ray) & Candace Sampson Locklear (Andrew) both of Red Springs; one grandson Master Colin Michael Brayboy; one granddaughter Miss Caylin Rae Brayboy both of Red Springs. His mother Lillian Hunt Sampson of Lumberton; three brothers Donald Sampson (Doreen) of Rowland; Timmie Sampson (Sue) and Raven Sampson both of Lumberton; one son Tony Locklear (Lawana, Nacota, Kameron, & Summer) and a host of relatives and friends.
Michael Sampson was born in Robeson County on March 11, 1957. He was a devoted husband, father, and Papa. His hobbies included riding motorcycles, restoring antique cars/trucks, traveling, attending NASCAR races but most importantly spending time with his grandkids, family & friends that he loved dearly.

To the family I'm sorry for your loss and you will be in my prayers. Mike was my cousin and I know he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Be strong in the Lord for He will give you peace.
