     Mrs. Mabel B. Sanderson, 96, of 673 Sanbryer Lane, Maxton, N. C., was born June 22, 1918 to the late William F. Bryant and Lula Barton Bryant.  She departed this life on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family

     She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Leslie Sanderson and her four brothers,  5 sisters and one grandson.

     Mrs. Mabel is survived by four daughters: Pandora Strickland of Maxton, Patti Archibaud of Wilmington, Kathleen Bacot  (Dannie) of Mcdonald and Sandra Graham of Maxton.  Two sons, Eugene Bryant (Janice) and Leslie Sanderson both of Maxton.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren; and one sister and three brothers.

     Mrs. Mabel was active at New Prospect Holiness Methodist Church having served more than 50 years in the nursery and she also sang in the choir all her life.

     Mrs. Mabel enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening as well as babysitting her grandchildren. She lived independently until age 94.  She will be greatly missed by her family and community.

I am very sorry to hear of Ms. Mables passing. You had a wonderful mother and friend. Losing a mother is so tragic in itself, but knowing that you will see her again makes the the
